Corte Pavone
Tenuta Corte Pavone is a prestigious Tuscan estate and part of Loacker Wine Estates, located on the hills opposite Montalcino, at over 500 meters above sea level. Acquired by the Loacker family in 1996, the 19-hectare estate is farmed entirely according to organic and biodynamic principles, with a strong focus on sustainability and ecosystem balance.
Corte Pavone’s philosophy is centered exclusively on Sangiovese, a variety that finds exceptional expression in this high-altitude terroir. Rocky galestro soils mixed with clay and loam, combined with cooler temperatures and constant airflow, give the wines remarkable minerality, structure, and aging potential. Each vineyard parcel is vinified separately, highlighting the unique character of each micro-terroir.
The estate is particularly renowned for its Brunello di Montalcino, including single-vineyard Cru bottlings such as Fiore del Vento and Campo Marzio, as well as limited Riserva releases. The portfolio is completed by an elegant Rosso di Montalcino and a vibrant, bottle-fermented sparkling rosé.
Corte Pavone’s winery features a three-level underground cellar built according to bio-architectural principles, ensuring optimal natural conditions for aging. The wines stand out for their precision, purity, and authentic Tuscan identity — a true expression of the “one vineyard, one wine” philosophy.
