Gradis’ciutta is a highly regarded organic winery located in the heart of Collio, founded in 1997 by winemaker Robert Princic in San Floriano del Collio. The area, historically known as Monsvini — “the mountain of wine” — is one of northeastern Italy’s most prestigious wine zones, celebrated for its refined and expressive white wines.
Gradis’ciutta’s vineyards stretch across the rolling hills near Gorizia, Capriva del Friuli, and Dolegna del Collio, where soil composition and microclimate shape wines of clarity and elegance. The estate places strong emphasis on indigenous varieties such as Ribolla Gialla, Friulano, and Malvasia, alongside carefully selected international grapes that reveal freshness, balance, and a distinct sense of place.
Certified organic since 2018, Gradis’ciutta practices sustainable viticulture without synthetic chemicals, focusing on soil health and natural balance. The wines are pure, precise, and authentic — a true expression of the Collio terroir and a philosophy rooted in respect for nature and quality-driven winemaking
